朱开沟遗址

 

　　朱开沟遗址位于鄂尔多斯市伊金霍洛旗纳林塔乡朱开沟村，面积约50万平方米，龙山时代晚期至商代前期文化遗存。朱开沟遗址1974年首次发现，内蒙古文物考古研究所进行了四次发掘，1988年正式命名为“朱开沟文化”。发掘总面积约4000平方米，共发现居住房址83座、灰坑(或窖穴)207个、墓葬329座、瓮棺葬19座，出土可复原陶器510余件、石器270余件、骨器420余件、铜器50余件。  
朱开沟遗址主要遗存的时代前后延续了约800年，朱开沟文化的发现和确认，对于内蒙古中南部地区原始社会史和中国古代北方民族史的研究工作，起了极大的推动作用。其中，以“鄂尔多斯青铜器”为代表的我国北方游牧民族文化，是在朱开沟文化的基础上逐步发展起来的。朱开沟文化对探索中国北方畜牧经济起源与发展进程方面，提供了最宝贵的信息。2002年，朱开沟遗址公布为旗级重点文物保护单位。朱开沟遗址，内涵丰富，特点鲜明，为孕育我国古代北方游牧民族的摇篮。
